“After three years of unsuccessful attempts to conceive a baby, including progressively aggressive infertility treatment at another clinic, I was becoming very discouraged. Both our emotional and financial resources were wearing out. My husband and I were contemplating options including trying a second IVF cycle with my own eggs, using donor egg, or pursuing adoption. Based on a failed first IVF, I had been told the chances of success with my own eggs were low. Dr. Letterie encouraged us to try again. While never promising success, he said that Northwest Center could try some additional measures to enhance the possibility of success, including changes in medication, dosing and laboratory work. We decided to take the risk. Despite a “slow start” early pregnancy, our child is due June! Prenatal tests so far have shown we have nothing to expect but a health baby. I am relieved and so happy to be preparing for motherhood.

I spent most of my childhood surrounded by babies, and as I got older, I looked forward to the day when I would have children. I was devastated to learn that getting pregnant the old fashioned way wouldn’t be an option for us. We visited various clinics in two different states before making our decision. Northwest Center for Reproductive Sciences was our last stop, and both my husband and I immediately knew that this was the clinic for us.
We have never been happier with a decision, and are so grateful for the doctors and staff at the clinic. They were there to answer my midnight phone calls about medication dosages (a little self doubt), and comforted me during all of the procedures.
We ended up transferring two embryos and thus began the long two week wait to find out if we were pregnant. Fourteen days later the results were in…we were PREGNANT! Our 6 week ultrasound at the clinic showed two heartbeats. We immediately called all our family and friends to share the exciting news. At our first OBGYN appointment at 9 weeks, we both got the surprise of our lives. The ultrasound technician found a third baby hiding behind one of the babies.
I had a rather uneventful pregnancy considering that there were 3 babies growing in there. Tristan, Cassandra and Ryland arrived after 32 weeks and 4 days. They are now 16 months old and such a joy. Those early days were difficult, three crying hungry babies, but they grow so fast. I can’t believe that we’ve already celebrated their first birthday. We’ve got six little feet running around our house and couldn’t be happier.

How do you ever say thank you? My time as a patient at Northwest Center for Reproductive Sciences felt like I was treated by family. From the time I met with the receptionist, did a blood draw, saw a nurse, and then Drs. Letterie, Opsahl, and Kennedy, I felt a sense of peace and comfort the entire time. Each and every staff member’s commitment to patient excellence and high level of professionalism shines through as you walk through the doors at Northwest Center.
I knew from the moment I walked into NCRS that this was the fertility center for me. There was a sense about the clinic that gave me that “something” I was looking for. It is difficult to describe, but I just knew that the clinic was the right fit. The physician’s special attention to detail and their compassion for me as a patient was an experience I will never forget. Their compassion towards my husband and I and our family is equally appreciated. I could never thank them enough, or say the right words for the office to truly understand how they have affected my life. Without them, I wouldn’t have my son. My life would be so different without Northwest Center’s expertise throughout this process. I will forever be indebted to NCRS for bringing me my Ethan. I shudder to think how different my life would be if I hadn’t taken the step to seek help with my fertility and consult a team of experts.
